Over the last three years, I have talked to a majority of the Fortune 500 companies that reside in the midwest and just a couple of those either a) use HP OO (HP Operations Orchestration) or b) admit to using HP OO. The majority of the orchestration engines are some of the others I have covered in the past, but with that said, HP OO is a solid orchestration engine with a short learning curve as well as plenty of plug-ins or as they call them, ‘content packs.’ On top of that HPE has sold their software division to a company called Micro Focus so this platform may still have some life left in it!

In this video, I go over how to create a VM from a template in vCenter as well as a few tricks I have learned while using HP OO in the enterprise.

I hope you enjoy the video! If you would like me to cover another topic with HP OO, please let me know!
